Navigation Maps are / will be Tesla Maps ( Maps in the IC ), Maps on the CID are Google maps and one day to be Google Maps with vector graphics which has nothing to do with the latest firmware and navigation push. The map data used by the navigation system is separate and is not from Google. (It is Tesla maps sourced at least partially from OSM and TomTom.) Go into the Settings/Software page and compare the map data versions between your two vehicles.
