Like many PTR owners, my rifle will reliably fire (i.e., single shot rifle) any NATO 7.62 ammo. I called PTR and got the standard reply to use a restructed list of ammo. The rifle function well with 2 of the types of ammo recommended.PTR Tactical Rail - 6 Inch. The six mounting screws are also included with each rail. This rail will fit on either the left or right side or the bottom of the PTR handguards shown below. Up to three rails can be used on each forearm and can be removed or added at will.
