I was just wondering since my MRP barrel has a straight gas tube from the existing block, I didn't know if it was as simple as putting on the gas block of my choice and fitting it with a "standard gas tube" with a bend in it. Most standard AR15 barrels I have seen have a slight bend in the gas tube to properly fit in the reciever and the gas block.The 45° gas port is on the barrel side.
