I have a 2.5" level, with Cognito upper control arms, and 35x12.5r17 tires on 17" Method wheels (0 offset, 4.75 backspacing). I had to zip tie the front wheel well liner forward a little bit after removing the support bracket, along with removing the bracket behind the front wheel well mudflap along with a small modification to suck those mudflaps back a little.

There was a 3" difference because they are on 8.5" wheels.You should be able to. I had a 3" body lift and cranked up torsion bars on my Suburban and it fit 35's. I couldn't crank the wheels too far to the side but they fit good enough.
